An eri silk ( also known as peace  silk) in an unusual grey with a hint of green hue with thread worked border . 
Eri silkworms was mostly found in north eastern parts of India and usually feed on castor leaves . The cocoons are harvested after the moths leave . This elastic silk is often referred to as Ahimsa  silk as it is processed without harming the silk worms. Unlike other silks that have continuous fiber, eri silk fibers are short staples giving it a coarse, elastic texture .
